ARTS & CULTURE: Kapnick's father, the late Harvey Kapnick, was once chairman of accounting giant Arthur Andersen. Harvey became a prominent citizen of Naples, Florida, and played a key role in the creation of the Naples Botanical Garden. The family has continued strong support of the garden via their foundation. Another force here may be Harvey's second wife, Mary, who had an interest in classical and big band music and whose father sang with the Paul Whiteman Orchestra.
