Sprint seeks arts and cultural organizations that “contribute to a thriving and diverse community.” Past grantees include City in Motion Dance Theater and the Kansas City Ballet Association. Grants are generally modest, ranging from around $1,000 to $10,000. The foundation awards grants to organizations across the United States. However, it prioritizes organizations located within the greater Kansas City metro area.
The Sprint Foundation accepts unsolicited grant proposals throughout the year via its online portal. The formal review process can take up to 90 days. The foundation does not make grants to individuals.
