PROFILE: The John & Jacolyn Bucksbaum Family Foundation was established in 2007. It was founded by real estate mogul John Bucksbaum and his wife Jacolyn, who worked in entertainment. John Bucksbaum was chairman and CEO of General Growth Properties (GSP), a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust cofounded by his late father. He went on to found Bucksbaum Retail Properties in Chicago. The foundation lacks transparency and does not maintain a website, restricting further information on its priority areas and grantmaking strategies.
