Futura Foundations: Grants for Women and Girls

OVERVIEW: The Futura Foundations support women and girls’ organizations working in developing and least developed countries around the world.

IP TAKE: Future does not provide information regarding its grant eligibility and requirements. Grantseekers should Futura staff for additional grantmaking information.

PROFILE: Based in Stockholm, Sweden, the Futura Foundations consist of two separate and independent entities, Futura Good and Futura Green. Futura Green typically dedicates the majority of its funding to research taking place at Swedish universities and colleges. Such funding limitations do not appear to apply to Futura good. Future Good does not name specific fields of grantmaking focus in this space; however, it appears to support organizations whose work centers on women’s health. Past grantees include Menstrual Health Hub, which received a grant for to help support its new online platform involving menstrual hygiene; and Grow and Know, which received a grant for its girls’ puberty book.
