PROFILE: Established in 2009, the Falmouth Fund is a town fund of the Cape Cod Foundation (CCF), a local community foundation based in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. CCF manages over 250 individual funds, including town-specific ones and topic-specific funds that support donors’ interests. Local residents established the Falmouth Fund to support nonprofits doing positive work in their community. The fund supports local education, youth, recreation, health, human services, arts and culture, and environmental efforts.
The Falmouth Fund provides broad support for nonprofits that operate in this town. Over the years, it has funded food pantries, shelters, mentoring programs, and health centers.
