Bagley went on to serve as chairman of the board and CEO of Lam Research Corporation, a global supplier of silicon wafer processing systems used to manufacture semiconductor integrated circuits.

HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES: Bagley and family, via their foundation, have supported Dallas Hearing Foundation, Stanford Neuroscience Health Center, Joslin Diabetes Foundation, Samaritan House Clinic, and ReSurge International, which “provides reconstructive surgical care for poor children and adults who lack access and builds surgical capacity in developing countries.”

EDUCATION & YOUTH: Bagley has supported his alma mater Mississippi State University, home to the James Worth Bagley School of Engineering. He gave the school $25 million in 2002 alone. He has also supported scholarships at the school.
