PROFILE: Alex Leahy is a program officer at the Community Foundation of Central Georgia. This is a role she has had since September 2011. She worked at the foundation as a high school intern and then returned part-time after college and became a program associate before this. Alex Leahy joined the Community Foundation full time in September 2011. She previously worked part time at the Foundation since July 2005. Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, and she has a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia College and State University. Alex serves on the Macon-Bibb Age Friendly Advisory Committee and the Miller Lanier Central Board of Advisors. She is a member of the Leadership Macon Class of 2015 and is a 2016 Hull Fellow of the Southeastern Council of Foundations.  Alex is married to Patrick, a History teacher at Northside High School in Warner Robins; they have two dogs, Ruby and Rocko.
