PROFILE: Andrew Apostolik is the president of the Sundt Foundation and has also been the corporate director of project controls at Sundt Construction since October 2016. He’s been the president of the board of directors as well since April 2015. He has written extensively about Lean Construction in the Utility and Infrastructure Industry.

I have been a construction professional since 1993 working primarily on civil infrastructure and heavy industrial projects. Currently Corporate Director of Project Controls for Sundt Construction Inc., I am responsible for development and implementation of standardized project management practices for the organization.
I actively serve the advancement of our industry. I am currently a member of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Utility Infrastructure Division Leadership and AGC Lean Forum Steering Committee. I have been a Lean advocate and practitioner since 2006, presenting on the topic for The Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) at UC Berkeley, Lean Construction Institute Annual Congress and published a white paper on Lean Construction in Utility and Infrastructure Industry through AGC of America.
I am dedicated to serving not just our industry but community as well. I am actively involved as President of the Board of Directors of the Sundt Foundation and the construction of low income housing as a Leader for Habitat for Humanity.
