She previously worked at Oceana as the vice president of global development for 10 years and was a marketing manager for the Embassy of Austria for nearly 10 years prior to that. She earned a certificate of business excellence from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, attended New York University’s Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, and received multiple degrees from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia.
