PROFILE:  Carolyn Marston is the director of scholarships and outreach at the Community Foundation of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. She has also worked as the director of programs. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond.

Carolyn is responsible for development and management of major initiatives, community outreach, and oversight of all grant-making. She is a graduate of the University of Richmond and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies and Communication Studies. Marston’s background includes more than 11 years in the nonprofit sector.
Prior to coming to the Foundation, Marston served as the Executive Director of Fairhope-Point Clear Rotary Youth Programs. At the Rotary Youth Club, Carolyn supervised community outreach, program development and grant management. Previously, Marston served as the Area Director of Southwest Alabama for the American Cancer Society. During her tenure with ACS, Marston oversaw staff and volunteers in 9 counties of southwest Alabama to further the mission of ACS.
