Charles Jackson is project manager with The Humana Foundation, in Louisville, KY. He manages a health literacy initiative, the Wellness Information Zone (WZ), which launched in 2007. He chairs the Executive Committee of Health Literacy Kentucky. Prior experience includes eight years helping manage The Foundation's Romanian Assistance Project, a volunteer medical assistance program, and eight years in public relations for commercial and public television. He has a B.A. in English and Humanities from the University of Louisville and received their first creative writing scholarship. Charles is also a Louisville native who lived in Houston for thirteen years.
