PROFILE: Christine Green has been the Trefler Foundation’s president since April 2003. Her job is to oversee all grantmaking for the private family foundation and focus on education and youth development. Prior to this role, Green was the vice president for programs at the Boston Foundation for three years. She has also served on the Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation Board.

Green has a Doctor of Education degree in education administration and policy from the Boston University School of Education. She also has Master’s degrees in Interdisciplinary Humanities & Community College Teaching and library science.
