Christine Miller has been with Comcast’s Community Investment department since 2006. Her primary focus is on managing the application and review process for Comcast Foundation funding requests. Prior to employment with Comcast, she was the Program Associate at Pew Fellowships in the Arts, a program of the Pew Charitable Trusts that awards grants to individual artists working in a wide variety of visual, literary, and performing disciplines. She has also been employed with Locks Gallery in Philadelphia, and was Assistant Director of the Pennsylvania Art Conservatory. She holds a B.A. in Art History from Temple University.
The Philadelphia-based foundation leader’s primary responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day efforts of the Comcast Foundation and the Foundation funding process.
- Writing, editing and reviewing grant applications.
- Communicating foundation guidelines and requirements to field colleagues and partner organizations to support them in their funding requests.
- Supporting Comcast’s signature employee initiatives – Comcast Cares Day and the Comcast United Way Campaign.
