As Community Affairs Manager, I support the community efforts of Duke Energy and Duke Energy Foundation including philanthropy, sports marketing and employee initiatives. My role serves as the Foundation lead representing the state of Florida.
Community and service are integrated into everything our company does. Through the Duke Energy Foundation, we provide philanthropic support to address the needs vital to the health of our communities. Annually, the Foundation funds more than $25 million in charitable grants, with a focus on education, environment, economic and workforce development and community impact.

Wright’s previous work experience includes roles at Suncoast Hospice/Empath Health, the Moffitt Cancer Center, Ruth Eckerd Hall, and Allstate Insurance. Personal interests include the following: social entrepreneurship for impact fundraising, educating/empowering the next generation, arts and science infused education, vintage and sports cars, genealogy and historical architecture.
