PROFILE: Jennifer Hammond Veilleux has been with Boston Scientific since January 2013 and serves as the senior manager for corporate citizenship. Here is how she describes her responsibilities on her LinkedIn bio:
Responsible for Global Corporate Citizenship across all business units, regions and countries, which includes launching global employee engagement opportunities, supporting patient cause campaigns and collaborating with HR and R&D teams to advance the company’s presence in STEM education. Responsible for employee engagement through volunteer programs and managing national sponsorships with organizations like the American Heart Association. Manage on-line grant making, application evaluations and quarterly board meetings for the Boston Scientific Foundation. Create and manage Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) content for websites and social media channels. Develop internal communication campaigns to educate employees. Launched the following first-ever company programs: Corporate Citizenship Council, Celebrate Volunteerism Week and Global Wear Red Day. Activate CSR Connect in Q1 2015 to encourage, support and track employee volunteerism.
