PROFILE: Kathleen Nolte is the program officer at the Lyndhurst Foundation, and is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. According to the foundation website, Nolte is the program officer for arts and culture projects and oversees special initiatives. Before this, Nolte worked as the director of the Cherokee County Arts Council for over four years. This was an organization that she founded in 2010.

She also worked as a fundraising manager for the Coalition for Justice in the Maquiladoras and as the assistant to the director for Round River Conservation Studies. Her educational background includes a BA in political science and Spanish from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in conflict transformation and development from the SIT Graduate Institute.
