PROFILE: Keisha Gray is the Mary Black Foundation’s program specialist for the early childhood development focus area. She has been in this role since November 2015. In this role, Keisha is responsible for implementing early childhood development grantmaking, giving technical assistance to applicants and grantees, evaluating impact, and developing relationships with local nonprofits, community leaders, and funders.
Previously she worked as the chief administrative officer at ReGenesis Health Care and the director of human resources for the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.

Keisha Gray joined the Mary Black Foundation in November 2015 as the Early Childhood Development Program Specialist. A native of Spartanburg, Keisha began her professional career working in program development and administration with the Piedmont Chapter American Red Cross and later the Urban League of the Upstate. After a successful career in Human Resources at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal and later the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, she and her family returned to Spartanburg. Keisha serves on the board of the Spartanburg Preparatory School (SPS) and also volunteers her time through various community activities through her membership in the Junior League of Spartanburg.
Keisha has a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development, as well as a B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of South Carolina. She and her husband are the proud parents of five amazing children.
