PROFILE: Mike McCoy has been a senior program officer at the Meadows Foundation since September 1986. Previously, he worked as vice president of the Associates Corporation of North America in the 1980s, and for the Youth Service Program for the City of Dallas in the 1970s.

For the last twenty years, Mike McCoy has worked for The Meadows Foundation as a program officer. He began his career in public service with the Cities of Mesquite and Dallas. During this time, he sought outside funding for police departments; managed the research function of a juvenile diversion project; managed the planning unit of the human development office of the city manager; and led performance audit teams. He then represented the legislative and regulatory interests of a $4 billion consumer finance company in ten northeastern states. Mr. McCoy is a member of Texas Environmental Grantmakers Group. Mr. McCoy received his Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
