PROFILE: Nicholas Thaw is the program officer for the International Music and Art Foundation. His bio for 1794 Meetinghouse, where he served on the board of directors, reads:

Now living in the Republic of Macedonia, Nicholas is Trustee and Program Officer of the International Music and Art Foundation (www.imaf.li). Established with the belief that, after all, our greatest legacy to future generations is art, the International Music and Art Foundation makes grants to facilitate the improvement and dissemination of the visual and performing arts, as well as the study and preservation of art and culture from the past. He is also a Trustee of the New York State Historical Association and Vice-Chair of the Council of Fellows of the Pierpont Morgan Library. Nicholas has been an Architectural Designer/Project Manager and has hands-on management of various theater operations. He earned his Bachelor of Professional Studies Degree in Architecture from State University of New York at Buffalo and did Postgraduate Studies at Glasgow University's Mackintosh School of Architecture in Scotland.
