PROFILE: Randy Redner has been the executive director of the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia since May 2015. He shares the following information about this role and his background on his LinkedIn profile:

As a nonprofit leader I have built high performing teams of staff and volunteers to achieve the goals of the organizations I have been privileged to work with. By focusing on talent acquisition, development and retention I have been able to build organizations that stand the test of time and out perform their contemporaries in both fundraising and mission/program delivery.
As the Executive Director for the Community Foundation I work in collaboration with our Board, volunteers and staff to continually build our donor's knowledge and understanding of the philanthropic needs of the communities we serve. Through this increased understanding my role allows me to work with donors to increase the asset base of the foundation and ultimately give more to the community. Over our 30 year history the Community Foundation has granted over $55 million to support worthy nonprofits not only in Northeast Georgia but also nationally and globally.

Prior to this role, Redner worked as the VP of income development for United Methodist Children’s Home, the vice president for Georgia and area executive director of the American Cancer Society, and the executive director of Habitat for Humanity North Fulton.

You can watch him speak at the Rotary Club of Lawrenceville and listen to him on Business Radio X.
