Seth Linden joined the Jim Joseph Foundation as a Program Officer in October of 2015. He has been an educator, teacher, and social entrepreneur for 20 years. He is founder & former CEO of Tutorpedia, Inc. and co-founder & former Executive Director of Tutorpedia Foundation, providing 1-1 tutoring and mentoring to K-12 students in the Bay Area. Prior to Tutorpedia, Seth taught and tutored math, science, and test prep at public and private schools in Atherton and Oakland, CA and Providence, RI. Seth is a licensed bartender, a seasoned artist, an avid traveler, and a lifelong learner. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and Masters of Arts in Teaching from Brown University. Seth and his wife, Sara, have a 2 ½ year old son, Ezra, and a new baby due in December.

I am an educator, teacher, and entrepreneur. I run a hybrid tutoring company, Tutorpedia, Inc. and the nonprofit Tutorpedia Foundation, providing 1-1 tutoring and mentoring to K-12 students. My vision is to personalize learning in order to graduate 100% of our students from high school, and prepare them to become lifelong learners. I am an avid traveler, a new parent, a photo-hobbyist, and a lifelong learner myself.
