PROFILE: Tracey Tafoya has been the manager of shared value and community affairs at the Tesoro Foundation since November 2015. She previously was the manager of community relations at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and held various other roles at that company. Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in mass communication/media studies from the University of California at Berkeley.

I have ten+ years of corporate affairs experience with Fortune 100 and 200 companies leading and improving strategic programs, operations and communications with a focus on reputation management and building trust within communities and employees.
Professionally, I enjoy toggling between strategy and execution mode. I have proven aptitude in both reading and understanding people and processes. Demonstrated ability in translating and enhancing complex concepts into consolidated, efficient, and useful processes. I’m motivated by continuous learning and improvement. I gravitate towards opportunities where I can apply what I learn into effective strategies and meaningful communications.
