OVERVIEW: Steven Price and his wife Tina direct their giving through the Tina & Steven Price Charitable Foundation, which does not appear to accept unsolicited proposals. BACKGROUND: Steven Price graduated from Brown University, and earned a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. Price worked in M&A at Goldman Sachs before working as an attorney. He also worked at Centerbridge Partners, a private equity firm where he led the firm’s investment efforts in telecom, technology and media. In 2009, he founded Townsquare Media, a media, entertainment and digital marketing solutions company.

EDUCATION & YOUTH: The Prices are strongly involved with Hillel International, where Tina Price serves as a chair. Price and Tina have also supported Hillel at their respective alma maters Brown and Barnard. Additionally, Tina is a chair of the Israel on Campus Coalition. Other grantees have included American Israel Education Foundation; Yeshiva Ohavei Torah; BBYO, the "leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences"; Camp Szarvas, which hosts Jewish campers from twenty countries; and Mechon Hadar, a "NYC-area educational institution seeking to empower Jews to create & sustain vibrant, practicing, egalitarian communities."

OTHER: The couple has supported Jewish religious institutions like Jewish Theological Seminary, as well as organizations that work for Jewish women, such as Project Kesher, whose aim is to "transform women's lives, restoring their Jewish identity and providing training in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Israel."
