EDUCATION: Gold has supported groups like Maryland Hillel, Yeshiva Gedolah of Bridgeport, and Menucha Chesed Services (which works in special education).

HUMAN SERVICES: Gold also supports outfits that work in health and human services. Grantees have included Friends of United Hatzalah of Israel, as well as Tomche Shabbos (Tomchei Shabbos) Of Rockland County, which helps feed poor and low income families in the greater Monsey, NY, area. Another important grantee here is Maharitz Dushinsky. 

ISRAEL STATEHOOD: Gold supports the Central Fund of Israel and Connections Israel (which supports the IDF).

LOOKING FORWARD: Gold keeps a low profile, but his giving is focused on traditional socio-religious Jewish organizaitons. Annual grantmaking is trending toward nearly $2 million annually, with the Gold Foundation funding a similar batch of grantees in the local Jewish community.
