BACKGROUND:  Lief D. Rosenblatt graduated with an A.B. from Harvard University, an M.A. from the University of Oxford, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He was a senior vice president at Lehman Brothers, a managing director at Soros Fund Management, and a senior managing member of Satellite Asset Management. 


COMMUNITY: Rosenblatt is on the board of AVI CHAI Foundation, whose work includes encouraging "those of the Jewish faith towards greater commitment to Jewish observance and lifestyle by increasing their understanding, appreciation and practice of Jewish traditions, customs and laws.” 

Grantees include Manhattan Jewish Experience, American Israel Education Foundation, American Friends of Lubavich Chabad, and Temple Israel of New York.
