Although Brown Foundation grants may go up to $125,000, the majority of grants range from $5,000 to $50,000. Marine and freshwater conservation organizations receiving support from the foundation in the past include the Freshwater Trust, which was awarded a grant to support its work protecting and preserving the country’s rivers and streams; and the Pacific Environment, which received funding for its work protecting communities and wildlife along the Pacific Rim.
