PROFILE: Established in 1985, the Colorado Trust is a health legacy funder based in Denver, Colorado. It formed when the nonprofit PSL Healthcare Corporation was sold to a for-profit organization. The Colorado Trust seeks to advance “the health and well-being of the people of Colorado.” It funds local efforts for health equity, health policy and advocacy, health data and information, and community partnerships across the state.

The Colorado Trust pursues its health advocacy mission through a multi-year partnership with 18 organizations to build a diverse field of health advocates. Its health equity learning series aims to increase awareness of equity issues and solve inequity issues. Colorado Trust community partnerships involve cities, towns, and neighborhoods to pursue community-led solutions for better health equity.
