PROFILE: The Headwaters Foundation is a private foundation based in Missoula, Montana. It aims to create a “western Montana where all people, especially the most vulnerable among us, are healthy and thriving” Grantmaking supports food security, early parenting, affordable childcare, housing security, and personal security.

This foundation awards grants and also provides non-financial support in the forms of leadership training, capacity building, and public policy conversations. It launched a Zero to Five Initiative that focuses on building resiliency for young children.
