He’s also supported Cradles to Crayons, which works with low-income children in the Boston area; Year Up; Teach for America – Boston; and Teach Plus, which empowers “excellent, experienced teachers to take leadership over key policy and practice issues that affect their students’ success.”
BOSTON COMMUNITY: Reeder has supported New Profit, a “nonprofit social innovation organization and venture philanthropy fund based in Boston, Massachusetts” and The GreenLight Fund, which “greenlights powerful programs that can help solve critical local needs, speeding their entry into the new location and giving them a strong start in the local community.”
LOOKING FORWARD: Reeder hasn’t said much publicly about his philanthropy, as far as we can tell. He’s still very much engaged in business, but perhaps his work in the education space will deepen in the coming years.
