Robert W. Wilson Jumps From Building in Apparent Suicide

The New York Post reports that 87-year-old Robert W. Wilson, one of the top donors coming out of the financial industry, fell to his death from his luxury apartment in an apparent suicide on Monday. Wilson had experienced a debilitating stroke a few months prior to his death, and his friend Stephen Vicusi told the Post, “He always said he didn’t want to suffer, and when the time came, he would be ready.”

Carl Icahn Calls Out Bill Gross On Twitter: Join the Giving Pledge

Billionaire investors Carl Icahn and Bill Gross are having a bit of a Twitter spat. It all started when Gross, the manager of PIMCO, the world’s largest mutual fund, criticized Icahn for pushing Apple to buy back $150 billion in stock, Tweeting that Icahn should leave Apple alone & spend more time like Bill Gates. Icahn responded by saying Gross should join the Giving Pledge, as he, Gates, and others have.
