PROFILE: Grace Farms Foundation (GFF) is a foundation based in New Canaan, Connecticut. Grace Farms is a former horse farm now integrated into 80 acres in northeast New Canaan, Connecticut. Grace Farms Foundation was established in 2009 to "enhance lives through engagement with nature, arts, justice, community, and faith." The property includes a nature center, gym, hub for social justice groups, community garden, and a part-time ecumenical chapel. While the Princes are major donors here, other donors have contributed as well.

Grants for the Arts, Justice,

Grace Farms runs initiatives such as its Arts Initiative, which develops and presents "new, collaborative, site-responsive works at the intersection of the visual, literary, and performing arts" and Justice Initiative, which develops "comprehensive strategies and partnerships that are designed to disrupt and combat all forms of contemporary slavery and gender-based violence." Through this initiative, among other things, the foundation also launched, with support from Quinnipiac Law School, a new educational course to train Connecticut lodging employees to detect and report human trafficking.

The foundation runs Community, Nature, and Faith Initiatives. Grace Farm's partners include New Canaan Land Trust, Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County, Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture (New York Public Library), Save the Children, New Canaan YMCA, and Yale Divinity School.

The Grace Farms Foundation works through its public facilities and integrated programs. Its property is a place where nonprofits, government entities, and individuals can all gather to promote the common good. Diversity is a priority for Grace Farms and its foundation. Most of the GFF’s support comes is in the form of general operating support. Interests include wildlife trafficking, human trafficking, organized crime, preserving nature, artistic creation, community engagement, domestic violence, and the Christian faith.
