PROFILE: The Rotary Club of Los Angeles Foundation (RCLAF) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation that is a successor to a trust created by the Rotary Club in 1939. This is the charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Los Angeles, which has been a leading business and civic organization in LA since 1909. RCLAF has an endowment of approximately $9 million and uses foundation funds for “LA5’s service support, forming the financial base for improving lives through impactful service projects both locally and in Los Angeles as well as internationally.” It funds local efforts for education, children and youth, homelessness, human services and other community needs.
