PROFILE: Established in 1985, North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF) is based in Gainesville, Georgia, and addresses the local needs of this region. NGCF accepts unsolicited grant applications for its community impact grants program. The application process is online. The board makes grant decisions in August and notifies applicants of decisions by early September. The foundation also makes free meeting rooms and affordable office space for rent available for local nonprofits in Gainesville.
