PROFILE: Established in 1999, the Greater Salina Community Foundation (GSCF) is a community foundation based in Salina, Kansas. A group of individuals created this philanthropic organization to promote endowment building. It is the largest community foundation in Kansas and administers over 600 funds. The Greater Salina Community Foundation awards competitive grants annually in addition to donor-advised and designated fund grants. GSCF has four grant cycles per year, and it awards grants from various funds in each cycle, and some funds offer grants in each of the four cycles.
