OVERVIEW: The Headwaters Foundation supports distressed communities, children in foster care, early nutrition, and community collaborations in western Montana.

PROFILE: The Headwaters Foundation is a private foundation based in Missoula, Montana. It seeks to create a “western Montana where all people, especially the most vulnerable among us, are healthy and thriving” Grantmaking supports food security, early parenting, affordable childcare, housing security, and personal security.

This foundation awards grants and also provides non-financial support in the forms of leadership training, capacity building, and public policy conversations.
