PROFILE: Established in 1965, the Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF) is a community foundation based in Aurora, Nebraska. HCF is made up of a board of directors of 21 individuals from the county and who represent various interests. The foundation aims to "meet the charitable and humanitarian needs of Hamilton County today and for generations to come.” HCF funds local efforts for education, human services, arts and culture, health and other community needs.

The Hamilton Community Foundation supports a broad range of local interests in the community. It looks to support projects that have a direct impact upon the lives of residents, impact as many residents as possible and for which funding is limited or unavailable from other sources. As a general rule, HCF does not offer funding for ongoing operating expenses, tax-supported school systems or for more than 50 percent of a project.
