And though he did not attend the school, he’s also been a major patron of Ithaca College, where he was a trustee for more the a decade including leading the board as chairman from 2001 to 2006. ARTS & CULTURE: Haines was once on the board of the Dia Art Foundation. The family appears to have an interest in the arts.
