Grants for Community Development, Education, and Public Health and Access

This women’s group awards program grants and catalyst grants. Program grants are awarded in the funder’s three areas of focus. Community grants support economic, social, environmental and cultural enrichment programs. Education grants improve education in the Greater Austin area. Health and well-being grants support improving the lives of children and families, as well as mental and physical health in Greater Austin. Meanwhile, catalyst grants support nonprofit strengthening and growing to improve sustainability and impact. Only groups that have been a grant finalist in a prior year are eligible for catalyst grants. The funder also has a youth initiative called Girls Giving Grants for girls in the Austin area who are in grades eight through 12. In 2019, the funder introduced Social Innovation Grants, which support advancing equity for women and girls of color in the Greater Austin Area.
