BACKGROUND: David L. Henle graduated with a B.S. in industrial economics from United College in 1975, and received his MBA in finance from NYU in 1981. Henle began his career in the commercial lending division of Irving Trust before joining Goldman Sachs in 1980. He joined DLH Capital in 2005 and is now a managing member. 

ISSUES:

EDUCATION & YOUTH: Henle is a major supporter of his alma mater, Union College, where he has sat on the board of trustees since 2004. The family's contributions Union includes the David L. Henle Merit Scholarship, created with a $2 million gift. The Henles also support The Bronxville School, which their sons attended, as well as Concordia College in Bronxville, St. Aloysius School, and PAVE Schools.

SPORTS: The Henles fund the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team Foundation, where Henle is on the board, and the U.S. Wrestling Foundation.
