OVERVIEW: The Greenstone Foundation’s mission is to assist organizations in our community that offer help to those in need by supporting educational programs, health and nutrition programs, and affordable housing.

PROFILE: Established in 1998, the Greenstone Foundation is a private, charitable foundation based out of Liberty Lake, Washington. The foundation is an arm of Greenstone Homes, whose president and CEO is Joe Frank. Greenstone works in Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Liberty Lake and Post Falls. The Greenstone Foundation seeks to “assist organizations in our community that offer help to those in need by supporting educational programs, health and nutrition programs, and affordable housing.”

Greenstone Foundation is steered by Executive Director Stephanie Delarosa, who is on the board of Spark Central, which aims to “ignite the creativity, innovation, and imagination necessary for people to forge the path to their best future.” The foundation is interested in connecting with organizations throughout the Inland Northwest who are dedicated to making a difference in its local communities.

Important Grant Details:

Grants range from $5,000 to around $46,000. In a recent fiscal year, the foundation gave away approximately $193,000. Past grantees include Spokane Meals on Wheels, Hope School, Spark Central, Youth for Christ and Our Place Community Ministries.

The foundation is not currently accepting grant requests and its annual budget is promised to current grantees.
