PROFILE: Established in 1996, the Names Family Foundation is the foundation of Scott and Sis Names. The founders were passionate about health and fitness and loved the Puget Sound region of Washington. They were lifelong residents of the region and started Scott’s Athletic Equipment Store in Lakewood. They were also among the original investors of Sports Tek, which later became Nike.
