Grants range from $5,000 to $66,000. In a recent fiscal year, the foundation gave away $463,000. Past grantees include Jewish Day School, Seattle Jewish Film Festival, Western Washington University Jewish Studies, Bellevue Art Museum, Bellevue College Foundation, and United Way of King County, where Stan has been a fundraising ambassador.

The foundation has no prescribed form for applications. Letters should include a description of the organization, its mission, and how it is carried out; current and prior year financial data, and current and future year budget. Applications must also demonstrate 501(c)(3) status. The foundation accepts applications at any time. Grants are generally determined by November.
