PROFILE: Established in 1978, the Social Justice Fund NW is a grantmaking organization based in Seattle, Washington. The organization also has an office in Portland, Oregon. It was originally called A Territory Resource until 2005 and has a long history of supporting inclusive and anti-racist organizations that serve communities of color. The foundation is dedicated to "addressing the root causes of social, economic, and environmental inequities.” It funds local efforts for social change and community organizing.

The Social Justice Fund NW awards grants to community-based groups that are led by people who are directly affected by their organization’s social justice issues.
