PROFILE: Established in 1987, the Women’s Foundation of Colorado (WFC) is a women’s philanthropy organization based in Denver, Colorado. A group of local Colorado women came together in 1985 to discuss the idea of this foundation, which now combines resources from various sources to support shared goals. The foundation aims to "catalyze community to advance and accelerate economic opportunities for Colorado women and their families.” WFC funds local Colorado efforts for women and girls.

The Women’s Foundation of Colorado works through various giving programs to achieve its mission, such as Power of Extended Philanthropy, the Empowerment Council and Dads for Daughters.
