She went on to launch Young Women's Leadership Network (YWLN), an organization that operates The Young Women's Leadership Schools (TYWLS), a network of all-girls public schools, and CollegeBound Initiative (CBI), a co-ed college access program. The couple continues to support YWLN and TYWLS via their foundation. 

Past grantees have included Teach for All, Cornell University (Tisch was once vice chair), 92Y, NY Historical Society (Tisch has served as a Trustee and Chair of the board's Executive Committee), American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (Tisch has been a trustee), New York Policy Foundation (Tisch has served on the board), Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation, Wildlife Conservation Society (Tisch has been on the board), and Jewish Communal Fund, the recent recipient of nearly $11.4 million in 2021.
