PROFILE: Established in 1997, the D.N. Batten Foundation is a private foundation based in Norfolk, Virginia. It is managed by Signature Family Wealth Advisors. Founder Dorothy Batten was raised on the banks of the Atlantic Ocean and Virginia’s tidewater rivers and has dedicated her philanthropy to protecting nature and animals, as well as empowering people without resources to achieve wellbeing.
