PROFILE: Established in 1957, the Ballantine Family Fund (BFF) is a family foundation based in Durango, Colorado. Morley C. Ballantine and Arthur A. Ballantine Jr. created this foundation to enhance the quality of life in their home region. The founding couple purchased local newspapers and merged them to create The Durango Herald-News and then The Durango Herald.
