Grants for Arts and Culture

The Bonfils-Stanton Foundation supports visual and performing arts organizations that enhance the cultural landscape in Denver, and in May 2023, the funder announced a new strategic framework focused on equity. All of its current grantmaking is conducted through an equity lens. Grants fund artistic excellence, visionary leadership, innovation, boosting cultural participation, the connection between art and community, and enhancing Denver’s art scene.

The funder provides general operating support, project support, capital project support, and through a collaborative grantmaking initiative that supports social practice projects that address local social issues. With regard to leadership, the funder supports the Denver art community with an annual awards program and the Livingston Fellowship Program.

Past local grantees include Art Students League of Denver, Central City Opera House Association, and Clyfford Still Museum.
